Northeast Christian Academy is a closed campus. We closely monitor visitors and guests that enter our facilities or campus. We ask that all visitors (including parents and guardians) check in with the school office if you are visiting during the school day, and receive a visitor pass.
Students may gain admittance in the mornings through the gate located by the flagpoles. At 8:00 AM that gate will be locked and the only entrance to the campus will be through the Aladdin Street gate. Students may exit through both gates after school.
Any student K-3 through 6th grade not being picked up by their parent, van driver, or designated person approved by the office must report to Extended Care. We realize emergencies may come up, but should this become habitual there will be a charge assessed for the supervision.
Students may not walk home or ride with someone else unless both parent and administrator have approved it.
Students are not allowed visitors other than parents, guardians, or previously approved personnel approved and designated by parents and guardians. Parents must designate with the school office personnel other than themselves who they authorize to pick up their student. These personnel must present valid ID prior to the release of said student. We stress the importance of the requirement that all visitors report to the school office upon entering our campus. Older students, high school age, are not allowed peer type visitors unless prior approval has been granted by the administration. Violators of this policy will be asked to remove themselves from Northeast Christian Academy property. Any refusal to comply with this will be dealt with accordingly.
Students are responsible for security of their own items. Students are provided access to lockers or other secure areas in which to place their belongings. We highly recommend that students do not bring extremely valuable items to school. Maintaining the accountability of individual items is a student responsibility. This includes items of clothing, books, and personal items. Items discovered on campus are placed in the lost and found area. Items will not remain in the lost and found over 30 days. After this time disposal is made of them. If a student misplaces or loses an item he should report it to his teacher or the school office as soon as possible. Students that drive to school are not allowed to use their vehicles as lockers. Students are not allowed to go to their vehicles during the school day. Students that display reckless or unsafe driving habits at school are subject to disciplinary action.
