Northeast Christian Academy conducts a variety of activities during the school year for students and parents. These activities are normally listed on the school calendar, such as Family Fun Day, Christmas Gift Shoppe, Valentine Grams, and our annual Northeast Country Fair. These activities provide an opportunity for fun and fellowship as well as a fundraising opportunity for the school. In October of each year we schedule an Open House to provide a chance early in the school year for parents to see what their child has accomplished and to discuss the child’s progress with his teacher. In December and again in March we have our Parent Teacher Fellowships where the students have an opportunity to perform and “show-off” for their parents, grandparents, and friends.
During our normal school weeks, the Elementary students in grades 1-5, have as a part of their afternoon activities, structured
Physical Education, Art, Music, and some basic Spanish classes. These subjects vary from time to time giving all students a wide range of activities for involvement.
Junior High and High School have Physical Education or organized sports each day. In our sports program we compete with other Christian schools in the El Paso area. Junior High is taught Latin and music as additional subjects. In High School Fine Arts is an additional activity along with Journalism, Christian Honor Society and Art.
There are many activities and programs that keep each and every student busy and challenged on a daily basis.
